She is also survived by two of her other children, Mary Agnes Bynum of Tucson, Arizona, and Thomas L. Dunigan of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Another son, Joseph L. Dunigan, Jr., predeceased her on June 15, 1995. Her progeny and familial relations include five grandchildren: Kathleen Bynum of Dallas, Texas, Jennifer Tighe and husband James of Phoenix, Arizona, Christopher Bynum and wife Rene of Houston, Texas, Joel Marr and wife Teresa of El Paso, Texas, Thomas L. Dunigan, Jr., a student at Boston College; and her daughter-in- law, Barbara L. Dunigan, with whom she shared a very loving, tender and abiding friendship. Agnes was also blessed with two great grandchildren Alex and Erica Tighe. Agnes was born on July 23, 1905, in Park Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of an immigrant lumberjack, Max Kilger, and his wife, Helena. Following secondary school, she studied nursing in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated as a registered nurse in 1927. Following graduation from nursing school, in the company of other young angels of mercy, she journeyed to Tucson, Arizona at the age of 21 to care for the sick in a tuberculosis sanatorium. While in Tucson, she met Joseph L. Dunigan, a law student at the University of Arizona. Joe and Agnes settled in El Paso, Texas in 1933 with Joe practicing under the tutelage of Tom Lea, Sr., and Agnus caring for many prominent El Pasoans, including United States District Judge Edgar Boynton, as a private duty nurse. Joe died on April 26, 1975, but now, on the Feast of St. Joseph, they are united again forever more. Agnes Dunigan was a woman of great religious faith that manifested in compassion, tenderness and care for others. These qualities are as important for the welfare of mankind as are the scientific and technological achievements that spanned her long life. Visitation will be held from 4 P.M. until 7 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2001, at Martin Funeral Home West, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 24, 2001 at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, 400 West Sunset with Father Juventino Celino officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. FLETCHER, CHARLES (CHUCK) 70, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2001 in El Paso. He was born in Bainbridge, New York to Forrest and Lena Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher joined the U.S. Army where he served for 20 years and retired as SFC. He was remembered in the 60'sas the NCO Club Manager at Fort Bliss providing great family entertainment for all. Chuck was a member in the Southwest Quarter Horse Association. He was twice Past Master of Masonic Fraternity 320 in scottish Rite and Past Worthly Patron 3 times in Ysleta OES 991. After his military retirement he also worked for the El Paso City and County Health Dept. He served on El Paso County Water Improvement District and on many projects. Chuck is survived by his wife, Grace Fletcher. Children, Betty Jean DeWitt and husband Rick, Barbara Trussell and husband Larry, Danny Fletcher and wife Renee and Dale Fletcher. 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Chuck was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He had many friends that cared for him during his illness. He never met a stranger, he was always loving and friendly to everyone he met. Susie was a member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, a former San Elizario elementary school teacher and a retired education counselor at Fort Bliss. She was a long time supporter and enthusiast of local theater, arts and charities. Susie also traveled the world extensively. Preceded in death by her husband, Major Stanley J. Magusiak. Watson, 83, passed away Monday, March 19, 2001 in a local hospital. She was a resident of El Paso since 1948. Mrs. Watson hosted a TV Show in the early 1950 for KROD and co-hosted ''Mature Living'' on KCOS in the 1990's. She was a volunteer worker for the Vista Hills Hospital and the East Side Police Station. Mrs. Watson was a retired accountant. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hamilton C. Watson in 1973 and is survived by her daughters, Sandra Watson Myers and Faye Watson Brown. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Joy was born in Palestine, TX, maiden name, Plema Joy Cockrell, she married Bill Boyd in 1947. She spent her adult life in West Texas, 35 years in El Paso. Upon retirement she and husband, Bill traveled, seeing the country for several years. They settled in the Sulphur Springs Valley of southeastern Arizona and developed a small ranch known as Sulphur Springs Valley Angus Farm. They have lived in this area near Sunsites since October, 1995. Husband Bill died August 14, 2000. Joy enjoyed being a volunteer for the library and newspaper. She is survived by five children: Linda Boyd of Colorado Springs, CO, Sherra McClure of Littlefield, TX, Cathy Click of Plant City, FL, Belvalyn Cook of Bakersfield, CA and Jake Boyd of Gilroy, CA; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one sister. Evelyn and her husband Jack moved from Tyler to El Paso in 1956 where they became involved in home building and remodeling. Evelyn later worked for the Ysleta Independent School District from which she eventually retired. She was a democratic precinct judge for over 40 years, and was recognized by the Democratic Party of El Paso for her many years dedicated service to the party. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband T.L. ''Jack'' Hayes. She was born May 18, 1920 in Bokoshe, Oklahoma and was a long time resident of Ruidoso, New Mexico. Dema and her husband T.J. Short moved to Ruidoso in 1946 with their three daughters. They owned and operated the Juntion Cafe, Service Station & Bus Stop located on Highway 70 where Sierra Blanca Motors is presently located. Dema was a member of the First Christian Church, Beta Sigma Phi and was very active in the Rudioso community. She was part owner of Sierra Blanca and Mountain Ski Shops in the late 70's and retired in 1981. She was a talented craftsman, seamstress and artist. She loved living in the beautiful mountains where she remained until moving to El Paso in 1996. In the last years of her life even though she suffered from Alzheimer's disease she was lovingly cared for by Maude Brudent, to whom the family is especially grateful and appreciative. Her husband of fifty years, T.J., preceded her in death, as did her son- in-law, George Powell Perry. She is survived by three daughters and two son-in-laws, Sharon Perry of Evergreen, Colorado, Denese and Bobby Watkins of El Paso, Texas and Myra and Ronnie Taylor of Ruidoso, New Mexico.
