He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Fred served his country in the U.S. Navy. He recently completed his Bachelors Degree at the University of Phoenix and was in management at Burlington Coat Factory. Fred was an avid outdoorsman enjoying mountain climbing, bike riding and grilling in his backyard. A long time resident of El Paso, Texas he was retired from the U.S. Army with over 23 years of service and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also retired from Unisys as a Field Engineer with 15 years of service. George was a dedicated volunteer for the American Red Cross at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Ann Bourgoin. Survivors include his wife Ona M. Bourgoin, daughters, Jacqueline D. Sullivan of Weare, N.H., Tammie E. Dennison, Emma Jane "Peg" died on June 4, 2001 at the Birmingham, AL home she shared with her daughter Dr. Jane Hiles, and son-in-law, Robert P. Collins. She was 88 years of age. Born in Williamsville, IL, she was known from an early age as "Peg" and sang on local radio as part of a trio "Peg, Grace and Pat". As a young woman she resided in Springfield, IL, and worked as a bookkeeper in the Western Auto store. She married Clarence Edward Hiles of Athens, IL, on Feb. 4, 1942, just before his service in the Second World War in 1945. The couple settled in El Paso, TX. After the birth of their daughter they moved to nearby Anthony, TX, where Emma Hiles was an active volunteer for the Girl Scouts, the Anthony United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Auxiliary. The Hileses returned to Illinois often, and resided for several years in Lakeside, AR. After her husband's death in 1995 Emma Hiles moved to Birmingham where her daughter employed as an Associate Professor of English and Director Of London Programs at Samford University. She is survived by her daughter Dr. Jane Hiles, son-in-law Robert P. James "Ray" Lawless, 80, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2001, he was born in El Paso June 20, 1920. He attended Austin High School and attended College of Mines. He served as an instructor at all times in the training command recalled during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed at Ernest Harman Air Force Base in Newfoundland as a Director of Materials.
