Joseph Johnston Vinson was married to Lura Baugh. They had three children, James

Arthur Vinson, Carrie Emily Vinson Wyly, Annie Pearl Vinson Brown. All are

buried near Joe in Indian Creek (Pleasant Hill) Cemetery, near the intersection

of FM913 and US281 south of Stephenville. He was living in Hico when he died.
