Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Don Brownlee March 23, 2002 ************************************************************************ Galveston Daily News, 27 April 1886: Marlin, April 26. - Colonel Tucker and George Rhodes, both colored, living in the Brazos bottom, had a fight in which the latter was severely cut with a razor, making a dangerous wound which came very near severing an artery in the neck. Tucker was jailed this morning by Deputy Barlow.
