It is located West of town just past the Hoffman place, 1 or 2 miles. **Notes by Susan Hawkins , Please see the notefield below for location info. There is another cemetery near this one in the woods, exact location unknown. it is the Ragsdale Cemetery. Ragsdale was on the Red River north of where Monkstown was to be in the future. There was a terrible epidemic and many folks died in the Ragsdale area. The bodies where taken to the woods far enough south of Ragsdale to be safe from floods. Additional Notes Not too long ago I received an email from Judy Low. She had located what she thought was a tiny family cemetery. I had no other info on the Killian's so we assumed incorrectly about this. Luckily we have someone who recorded the whole thing as it must have been a few years ago as only the two Killian stones were visible. Judy's directions ( as of Spring of 2000) "It is located not far west of Hwy 100 on CR2175 going west, It is past a white house ,from the white house you go around a curve and you will come up on it. the road is bad. Just a little ways down the road on the left side. "" Many thanks to both Judy and Rodney for the care to report this cemetery. It sounds as though it might be lost in the near future forever as is the Ragsdale Cemetery today.
