Also many of them from periods of time before many stone markers were used and the Bois d'arc markers burned in grassfires. If you know where any of them are please let me know or info on the Families involved. 1....JACKSON FAMILY CEMETERY- located on "Morgan Farm joining the Goss Farm" near the Red River in NE Fannin county. Reportedly never marked and "This family buried their dead at night and did not mark the graves" (DRT & DAR records) I have read this account of them with lanterns at night also in old newspapers. 2....GRAVE YARD HILL- listed in (DAR records) Could this be the same cemetery? no other lists found or location. They recorded only these; J.C.Clark 1820-1875 W.N.D. wood slab no dates other slabs of wood no inscription Another source says : "Owned by the Jackson family. "Mr.& Mrs. Jackson are supposed to be buried there" 3.....REEVES CEMETERY- This cemetery is mentioned in DAR & DRT records and by Floy Hodge. Destroyed now. Several graves were reported unmarked only stone ever recorded was that of John Reeves b. 17 June ?-d.1864 This was located on the Goss Farm extreme NE Fannin county. Does anyone know anything about him? 4....BARNES Family CEMETERY- remembered only as being on the Goss farm also, no records or markers 5....Seeking location of the Oliver-Spoonamore Family Cemetery in the NE quadrant of the county. Is is gone or just hard to find?
