It is near where the Yoakum & Ward Creeks meet. Just off Cr2980. Allen, William A. and Mary Polly Ward Allen are thought to be buried in this cemetery. (husband of Amanda Ward wed 19 May 1859) died age 78 December 1912. Ward, Jeremiah L. 27 Jan. 1788- 1896 came to Tx.1845 Ward, Nancy wife of Jeremiah 1805-1853 Yates, Elizabeth Gambill b.Kentucky in July 1823, She died the 'Oldest Person in the county" about or on New Years of 1918. She was wed in 1851 to Lewis Yates.Her grave is unmarked, records show she was buried in the "Jolly'Cemetery.She was a Presbyterian and a sister to Dr.Buck Gambill & Jack Gambill see note at bottom of page. Lewis & Elizabeth had three girls : Mary A., Isalene and Josephine. Yoakum, Adam Stump 18 Mar.1814-14 Mar.1889 Yoakum, Infant son of George & Alice Green Yoakum Yoakum, Martha Ventioner 17 Sept.1821-30 Nov.1870 wife of Adam wed 13 Jan.1839
