Onstat to Deed State of Texas William Grinder ,County of Fannin. Know all men by these presents that I William Onstat for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars to me in hand by William G. Grinder both being of the State of Texas and County of Fannin the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have this day granted, bargined, sold, transferred and assigned and by these presents do grant bargin, sell transfer and assigns forever the following ????? tract or parcel of land containing six hundred and fotry acres the same being a part of the headright survey of William Onstat of one league of land and deeded to me by said William Onstat August 5th AD 1845. Beginning at the South West Corner of said league survey a stake from which as ash mk'd WO on N. 817. 6 varas . Then on North nineteen hundred varas to a post oak hacked and blazed - thence East - nineteen hundred varas to a stake from which a blackjack mk'd + ? South 3 1/2 varas- thence South - nineteen hundred varas to a stake in prarie and thence West nineteen hundred varas to the begin-ning to have and to hold the above described land, together with all and singular the rights, members, hereditments and appertinances into the same belonging on in anywise appertaining, into him the said William G. Grinder his heirs and assigns forever and I the said WilliamL. Onstat for myself my heirs and assigns, hereby ???? and defend the title to said land and premises unto the said William G.Grinder his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of all persons whomsoever lawfully - claiming or to claim the smae or any part thereof.In testimony whereof I have ????? set my hand and seal (using a scrawl as such)this twenty seventh day of November AD eighteen hundred and forty seven. in the presence of William S.
