Mar 15, 1983 p. 5 MARTHA JANE FINLEY Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Jane Finley of Bonham will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Cooper Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Bonham. Burial will be in the Odd Fellow Cemetery in Ravenna. Mrs. Finley died Monday at the Fannin County Hospital. She had been in ill health for 25 years, and had been in the hospital nine days. She was born daughter of Joe M. and Emma Lee Henshaw Walker Jan 14,1886 in Llano. She was the widow of George W. (Dick) Finley who died April 25, 1945. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Bonham. Survivors include five sons, Raymond Y. Finley of Bonham, Roy Lee Finley of Lancaster, George M.Finley of Farmers Branch,Willie Joe Finley of Athens, and Frank D. Finley of Paris; one daughter, Mrs. Daisy Ball of Bonham; two brothers, Fred Walker of Sweetwater, and Robert Walker of Lovington, N.M.; 22 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Cooper Sorrells Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday. Submitted by: Patsy Finley Vinson, granddaughter. Her parents were: Joel Marion Walker (son of Hubbard Peyton Walker) and Jessie Emeline Hinshaw (daughter of Jesse and Celia Hinshaw). One son, John Wesley Finley preceeded her in death in November, 1969 Dallas.
