Elizabeth Ann PORTER was born 1935 in Bagby Community, Fannin County, TX. She 
was a farm girl, born on the family farm.  This farm is still productive by non-
family owners. Her grandfather Billy PORTER donated a corner of his property 
for the school. The school teacher would request that she attend school on the 
days that Education Authorities would be visiting so that there would be enough 
children to keep the school open.  She may have been in school but not 
necessarily old enough to be in school.

Additional Comments:
Elizabeth Ann PORTER is the 2nd child of Newman Cecil PORTER and Mary Etta 
(WRIGHT) PORTER.
