The tombstone is inscribed :
Eliza E. wife of T. A. Rowland 
Born Oct 12, 1853
Died Sept 3, 1935

It is a tall white marble stone on the right along a hedgerow as you enter the 
cemetery.

Additional Comments:
Eliza Emline Muse was born in Tennessee. I believe she is the daughter of Asa 
S. Muse and Lenora Muse.  Her parents were from NC and settled in Bedford Co, 
TN.  She married twice. The first marriage produced the children: Ollie Elmore 
Rowland and Lewella "Ella" Rowland (married James J. Kilburn). (I believe that 
she was first married to Taylor's brother William) After she was widowed, she 
married Taylor Rowland and came to Texas in 1881 in a covered wagon.  There 
they had the following children:  Minnie Ada Rowland, James Walter Rowland, 
Vallie V. Rowland, and Lena Rowland.
