The Other Cunningham Family in Fayette Co TX

Once many years ago when I was at the library in Fayette Co. I found my 
Cunninghams were mixed in with another Cunningham family in a notebook of 
sorts, the same which has a family member on the San Jacinto monument. 
Those Cunningham's came out of Tennessee. My Cunninghams didn't. So this 
is to separate the two Cunningham families. The common first names is what 
leads one to confusion. I am keeping dates to a minimum and just listing 
names.
My great-great-grandfather James Cunningham (born Nov. 5, 1818 England) 
came over in 1835, per military records for the Texas Vol. Army.
All marriages in Fayette Co. unless otherwise noted.
He married his first wife, Rebecca FITZGERALD July 31, 1845. She was the 
dau. of Samuel and Nancy ANDERSON FITZGERALD. They had 9 children: Margaret 
E. who married Hosea HAMMONDS/HAMMONS in Lavaca Co.; Julia Susan 'Ann'; 
Obed Robert who marr. Mary A. BAKER; William S. who married the widow Clara 
LYONS PEELER in Bell Co.; Nancy R. who married 1st to Archibald 'Archie' 
RAY and 2ndly to John G. DUNCAN, marr. place unkn.; John Henry; Mary Jane 
who married Archie's brother Benjamin F. RAY; James F. 'Frank' who married 
Emily SCALLORN; and Sarah C. 'Sallie' who married Thomas J. DeArmam (found 
spelled a variety of ways).
Rebecca died Dec. of 1860, when Sarah 'Sallie' was only 8 mos. old.
James then married on March 5 of 1863 the widow Lucinda Jane BOLTON JONES. 
Lucinda was the dau. of Michael Lee and Sally M. CLEVELAND BOLTON. Her first 
husb. was L. S. Jones, 1st name believed to be Lawson. She had a dau. with 
Mr. Jones, Anna Abigail.
James and Lucinda had 10 children of thier own: Amanda A. who married James 
BUSBY; Andrew J.; Leander A. 'Lee' who married Mary Ella NULL; Joseph Daniel 
'Dan' who married 1st to Mary A. BROOKS in Hill Co., 2nd to Beulah PLEDGER, 
and 3rdly to Dora DEASON-these last two in McLennan Co.; Lucinda D. 'Delia' 
or 'Dely' who married Terence 'Tom' Reynolds; Cora; Cornelius M. 'Neal' who 
married Mineola 'Ola' BROWN in McLennan Co.; Tabitha (long I) L. who married 
John T. HOBBS in McLennan Co.; Albert; Thomas Marion who married Katie Pearl 
JANES.
I am descended from James Cunningham's second marriage to Lucinda by way of 
their son Cornelius M. 'Neal' whose dau. Hazel is my paternal grandmother..
