"Sid" Cleveland, 81, Rotan farmer, will be held in the First Baptist church where he was a member. Burial in Rotan cemetery under the direction of Weathersbee Funeral home. Mr. Cleveland died Monday in Callan hospital in Rotan following a heart attack at his home. He became ill and was taken to the hospital by Weahtersbee ambulance. He died about an hour and a half later. He had been in ill health for the past two years. He had been in ill health for the past two years. She was born 28 June 1879 in South Carolina and came to Texas as a boy, settling at Whitewright near Gainesville, with his parents. He married Donnie Hyatt there in 1902, and they moved to the Pleasant Valley community near Rotan in 1904. They moved to Rotan about eight years ago, when Mr. Cleveland retired from active farming. Survivors: his wife; 1 sons - Walter of Pleasant Valley community; 4 daughters - Mrs. Cecil Edwards and Mrs. Ruby Lang of Rotan, Mrs. W.M. Williamson of Roby, Mrs. Harvey McGinnis of Dumas; 2 brothers - Ernest and Sam of Rotan; 2 sisters - Mrs. Elizabeth Davis of Gainesville, Mrs. Jesse Holloway of Van Alstyne. Another son, Olen, died in July of 1956, and a daughter, Mrs. Ode Levens of Roby, died in 1955.
