Miss Crowell Weds Mr. Mitchell   (sic - s/b Miss Cates)

Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Cates, of Crowell, Texas, announce the marriage of their 
daughter, Ruby, to S. D. Mitchell, at their home, July 20, Rev. J. E. 
Billington, of the First Baptist church, officiated.

Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell will be at their home in Ellenwood, Ga., (Clayton Co.) 
after August 1.

Additional Comments:

Ruby was the daughter of Issac Monroe Cates and Permelia Amanda Worley.  Her 
father was raised in Clayton Co., Georgia but moved to Cooke Co., Texas ca 1880-
1882 where he married Permelia.   Ruby was born March 29, 1901 in Crowell, 
Foard Co., Texas and was raised there.  Her parents remained in Crowell until 
their deaths, as did most of her 10 siblings that survived to adulthood.
