Mrs. J.T. King (Laura) King 67, a beloved mother of the Majors community, died 
Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Dan Long. She had been ill for 
some time and death came as a rest from her suffering. Funeral services were 
conducted at Glade Springs Sunday morning by J.G. Biskamp, minister of the Church 
of Christ of Mt. Vernon, with interment following in the Glade Springs cemetery. 
Three sons and five daughters survive.
