PARCHMAN, ELLEN, MRS. - Nee Ellen Roach, died in Ft. Worth last Sunday. Her
remains were shipped to the old home at Mt. Vernon and interred in the City
cemetery. She was the daughter of A.M. Roach, one of the pioneer citizens of Mt.
Vernon, and one of the most highly respected men of his time. For a number of
years Mrs. Parchman lived at Hubbard City. (S.S. Gazette, Fri., Aug. 21, 1908)
