W. Wardlow at his home in Cason was a sorrowful shock to the family and friends. He was found in his room, dying from gunshots, Mr. Wardlow had been in failing health for a long period. Funeral services were held at the Cason Baptist Church Wednesday morning. Mr. Wardlow was a merchant at Cason, having a successful business there. With his wife he leaves one step daughter, Mrs. Mabel Watkins, of Cason, four sisters and three brothers as follows: Mrs. O. P. Jones, Amarillo; Mrs. J. J. Cason, Mrs. Mollie Evans, O. E. and D. T. Wardlow, Cason; Mrs. W. I. Allison, Gladewater; and John Wardlow, Pittsburg. The deceased had several relatives here, among who were the Arrington’s and the Stephenson’s.
