Tuck ************************************************************************ Seymour Caroline White, wife of Jasper White, and daughter of R. E. & Epsy Head, departed this life January 25, 1908, at her home five miles west of Mt. Pleasant. She was born in Barbour County, Alabama, October 29, 1852, and was married to my father November 24, 1873. They went to Texas in December 1875, and landed in Franklin county, stayed there one year and moved to Titus county in 1876, where they have lived ever since. There were born to them nine children, seven of whom are living, six boys and one girl, the youngest,a boy, now twelve years old. Mother’s life the last ten years has been one of intense suffering, having been affected with consumption. Reported by J. R. White, Prescott, Arkansas, January 30, 1908.
