                                Dr. James S Wills
                               (10 June 1805-1877)
                                
   Dr. James S Wills was born 10 June 1805 in Robertson Co., Tennessee to William 
Wills Sr. (1755-1844) and Margarette (Davis) Wills (1779-1863).  James appears in
the 1840 census for Fayette Co., Tennessee.  James is next in the 1850 census for
Limestone county, Texas and 1860 census for Town of Cotton Gin, Freestone Co., 
Texas. James is finally in the 1870 census for Fairfield, Freestone County, TX.
   James married Emily McFarland (1811–1888) in 1833 in Tennessee. 
   James' mother, Margarette (Davis) Wills, dies at his house in Cotton Gin, TX
on 28 May 1863.
   James died it is believed in 1877 and is buried at Cotton Gin cemetery.
