Status: Still Active GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 31.7414, Longitude: -96.0772 Background: William Clark Willie Day gave the land for this cemetery. There are no Days buried here. Most are descendants of William W. Willard and James William Orand. In late 1870, William and his wife Telitha and their eighteen children (many with families of their own) started out for Texas from Tennessee. Directions: Located 4 miles north-east of Fairfield. Travel on 488 from Fairfield, turn to right (I believe on #123) near the Ward Prairie Baptist church & community. About a mile to cemetery down bending road on right. Pin Oak Creek lies to the east about a mile. Note - Many unmarked graves are in this cemetery. Oldest Marked Grave: Oct 5, 1875 James R.
