In the olden times, the members of the Shiloh Baptist Church use to bury their dead in the Sam Gorman Cemetery. However, often bad weather and muddy roads delayed burials since the cemetery was a distance from the church and residents. Many of the old stones were moved from Gorman Cemetery to the Shiloh Cemetery. Cemetery Description: Newer cemetery. Founded between 1947 and 1948. Covers an area of approx 1.6 acres.
