He is believed to be the son of David and Mary (Hogg) Sloan and was born in Lafayette Co., Missouri. Robert married Mrs. Jane (Lamb) Dillard on 17 Feb 1859 in Freestone Co., TX. Directions: Located across the old road on the south side of Hill Cemetery, east of Streetman. The cemetery is located on private property. Go 1.3 miles south of Streetman, east on farm road. Also about 1/2 mile east of old highway 75.
