The First Baptist Church of Teague The First Baptist Church of Teague will be celebrating its 130th anniversary on Sunday, October 14, 2007. The day will begin with Sunday school at 9:40 a.m. followed by the morning worship service at 10:50 a.m. Special speaker for the morning will be Dr. James Semple, former State missions director and an outstanding preacher of the gospel. Former music minister Josh Rhodes will lead music and there will be a reunion of the 1970’s youth choirs, led by Jerry Morris. There will be a catered meal for lunch at the Family Life Center followed by a celebration and testimony time. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy this special time of celebrating a blessed past and committing to a greater future. The First Baptist Church is located at the corner of 6th Avenue and Walnut Street.
