First Presbyterian Church of Streetman

Sept. 8, 1912 - Started on by Rev. George H. Steen, an evanglist of Central Texas
 Presbytery.

Jan to July 1913 - Rev. James L. Bowling preached.

1914 - Church grew under Minister H.R. Overcash to four elders, one deacon, 42 
  members and Sunday school class of 49.

1922 - Membership at 61.     

WWII - Started its decline.

Jan 2006 - Saved by the Streetman Historic Association from being razed by the 
city.

Oct. 26, 2013 - Open House.  Currently a community center.
