               Dear Sir
                      As I understand you
will be out in Freestone c[oun]ty Texas sometime
this fall, I have a small favor to ask of you
if it will not trouble you to[o] much; which
is to receive my part of the mondey due me
on the first payment of the land sold belong-
ing to my father's Estate & receipt for the Same.
I will be in Freestone sometime towards the last 
of October or first of November, and if you 
will bring it with you out then when you 
come you will much oblige your Friend.
  The health of the country generally is very
good + Crops are very fine cotton 
particularly.             R. J. Satterwhite

P.S. I sent this by the Administrator
  and I have given him directions what
  to do. Please, write to me at Mansfield
  Desoto Parish, La. about what time you
  will be in Freestone and whether you
  can bring it with you or not.
