Sharp, inherited by them in right of their mother, Mary A. Sharp. Said property subject to the life estate, it being one-third allowed by law to him, the said James M. Sharp, as surviving husband of the said Mary A. Sharp, viz. Julia, a negro woman aged about 33 years: $725.00. Amy, a negro girl aged about 14 years: $650.00. 553 (1/3) acres of land out of the headright of V. Hamilton in Upshur County: $415.12 (1/2). 2,214 acres of the headright of one Maria D. Centuna, Freestone County, now involved in litigation: $1,107.00. 160 out of 640 acres of H. W. Vardeman: $80.00. Further inventory of negro slaves pointed out by the said James M. Sharp as the property of his infant daughter Margaret E. Sharp, inherited from her mother Margaret E. Sharpe, who was the last wife of the said James M. and who sold the said slaves in her lifetime as her separate property. Said slaves subject to the charges of the life estate, it being one-third allowed by law to said James M. Sharp as surviving husband of the said Margaret E., viz. Amanda, a woman aged 18 years: $700.00. Her boy child Dudley, 12 months: $150.00. Kathleen, a girl aged 13 years: $700.00. I, James M. Sharp, do solemnly swear that the above inventories contains a true accounting of all the property belonging to my several minor children which has come into my possession or of which I have any knowledge, so help me God!
