Freestone County, Texas News of 1915 The Teague Chronicle - Friday, December 3, 1915 Page: 5 Merry Wives Entertained Mrs. J. W. Adamson, Jr., was the charming hostess for the Merry Wives last week. She proved herself a versatile hostess by stepping aside from the usual mode of entertainment, giving her guest a treat in the form of a theatre party at the Idylwild and then taking them to the popular place for refreshments, the Palace of Sweets. Here the tables were arranged “tete te tetes” each with dainty bon bons in the center. Delicious hot chocolate and two different kinds of cake were served. Those present were Mesdames Byron King, John Robinson, Joe Paul, S. M. Alexander, Wm. Branch, Jr., S. D. Procter. The visitors were Mesdames W. R., Boyd. Jr., J. W. Carnes, Suttles, and Miss Bessie lrwin and Thelma Gannaway, and the hostess, Mrs. J. W. Adamson, Jr.
