BALL PLAYER DROPS DEAD AS HE SCORES A HOMER FOR HIS TEAM

WORTHAM, Texas. May 8 - Mon Blanchard of Wortham fell dead of heart failure as he 
crossed the plate after a homer in the ninth inning of a game with a visiting 
club. The run counted and Wortham won.
