Freestone County, Texas Social The Teague Chronicle - Friday, July 21, 1916 Page: 6 Slumber Party Miss Norma Neyland delightful entertained a number of her friends with a slumber party Thursday evening and night. Those enjoying the part were Miss Hortense, Doyle, Janet Gassman, Mary Gordon, Helen Forsythe, Zelma Tharp and the charming hostess. The guests came for supper and this hour was thoroughly enjoyed, not only for the delicious supper, but for the spirit of fun that ran riot as well. After supper a surprise was in store for the guests, for at 8:15 a knock was heard and the door opened to admit the following young men: Walter Grant, Mac Drumwright, Sam Ward, Clifford Avey and Raymond Brothertin. Forty-Two was the game of diversion and at the close of which ice cream and cake was served, followed by music. After the departure of the young men, a pillow fight sailed the guests into dreamland and breakfast closed this most delightful occasion.
