H. Knight killed yesterday, his largest weighing 340. How is that for a hog? B. H. and Marion Knight were called to Palestine last week to the bedside of Marion's brother, Dorus Knight, who died yesterday morning, and was buried today. His cousins, Clint Knight and Mrs. Texia Ezell, also went to see him. Farmers have commenced turning the ground for another crop, but it hasn't rained enough for it to plow good, though it looks like rain or snow tonight. Farmers have a tendency to plant a big cotton crop. Looks like they could see that they get the most for a small crop. The farmer thinks when there is talk of reducing the acreage that that is the time to make his "Jack," and when fall comes there is another big crop.
