Walthall are now occupying the residence on the corner west of the Middleton home, having rented their farm home near Athens. While his family were living in East Texas, Mr. Walthall continued to operate his business here, making weekly visits home, and he decided to eliminate this inconvenience by having his family return to Streetman. ----------------------------------------------- The ice cream supper given at Winkler Tuesday night was both a social and financial success. Quite a number from this city were in attendance and expressed themselves as having had a delightful time. Among those present from here were: Dr. W. O. McDaniel and daughters, Misses Bessie and Cora; Messrs. Gilbert Milner, Randolph Patton, Vivian McDaniel, Norman Reed and Henry Cole. ----------------------------------------------- Miss Cora Grayson arrived home last week from an extended visit with relatives in Waxahachie. ----------------------------------------------- Mrs. Kate Ellison of Corsicana is visiting relatives in this section. ----------------------------------------------- Mr. S. F. Alford, who is connected with the S. P. Ry. Co. with headquarters at San Antonio, was here last Sunday, the guest of Dr. J. N. Milner and family. ----------------------------------------------- Messrs. Jack Lott and Dewey Martin of Fairfield, were visitors in the city Tuesday. ----------------------------------------------- Don't forget the annual reunion of younff[sic] and old soldiers at Fairfield on July 21, 22 and 23. Everybody invited. ----------------------------------------------- Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Newman, Mrs. A. M. Beene and Mrs. L. V. Clark visited Wortham friends recently. ----------------------------------------------- Mrs. Ernest Jackson of the Rushing community, visited relatives and friends here last Friday. ----------------------------------------------- Mrs. R. G. Bounds and little son, R. G. Jr., are visiting relatives and friends at Alto, Texas. ----------------------------------------------- Miss Daisy Fairman, who was called here by the sickness and death of her aunt, Mrs. Ira Dorsey, left yesterday for her home at Logansport, Ind. ----------------------------------------------- John Archie Clark left Monday for Burkburnett, after a pleasant visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark and many Streetman friends.
