Mrs. Sumpter Daniel, our efficient phone operator, is visiting her parents at Hightower, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Algy Cain, of New Hope, spent last week end with Mrs. Cain's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. V. Ivy. Miss Myrtle Fae Day is visiting her sister, Mrs. Hugh Mainard, in Teague, this week. Mrs. T. A. McIlveen was a Corsicana visitor Monday and attended the band contests. Mrs. Earl Williford has gone to Huntsville to attend summer school at Sam Houston. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Lindley spent last week end in Corsicana, visiting relatives. Mrs. L. G. Sandifer, of Teague, is the guest of the Andersons' this week. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Ivy, near town, last week, a pretty baby girl. Mrs. M. F. McIlveen is in Dallas, guest of her broither, Will F. Fischer. Misses Mays, Taylor and McGilvary spent last week end in Dallas.
