Weldon, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Weldon and children visited in Wortham Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Thornton, Miss Martha Bonner and Bob Ross of Norman and Mrs. Clyde Quinn and daughter, Donita Sue of Pearson, Oklahoma, left for their homes Saturday after a two weeks visit with W. A. Bonner. Mrs. Lydia Beene of Teague spent the weekend with Mrs. Ed M. Watson. Mrs. C. H. Watson attended the district meeting of the W. M. U. at Waco the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Bowlen Bond and daughter, Christine, and Harriet Marie Williford of Fairfield spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ed. M. Watson. W. A. Bonner, J. T. Weldon, C. B. Steward, A. H. Bass, Doyle Weaver and Leonard Armstrong were in Corsicana Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Raul Pullin and son, Billy, of Burleson, visited here over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Steward, Sr., went to Corsicana Sunday to see Mrs. Steward's brother, J. Y. Stewart, who is seriously sick.
