Mrs. J. J. Manning is reported right sick at her home this week. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Adams of Waco visited relatives in Wortham Sunday. We are paying higher prices for poultry and eggs. - R. H. Waldrop, Teague, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Drumwright and Henry Elmo Drumwright visited in Teague Sunday. Mrs. Ralph Calame spent several days in Dallas this week visiting relatives. Davis, Aclark Yeldell and Henry Evans are serving as jurors in district court at Fairfield this week. Mrs. W. D. Wilson and Mrs. M. T. Morrow attended a church meeting at the First Baptist Church in Mexia Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Judge Bell of Coolidge visited in Wortham Sunday, guests of Mr. and Mrs. Towns. Longbotham. Misses Zelda Butler and La Fern Hoyler and Scott Hickey Jr of Cleburne were guests in the W. C. Butler home last week-end. Misses Natalee and Laura Belle Bounds accompanied Mrs. F. L. Cole of Grand Saline to Marlin Monday returning home Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. M. C. H. Park and son, Robert Park, and Mrs. Donnell of Waco visited in Wortham Friday, guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Stubbs. Mrs. G. B. Barrington and her little son, Graham Ray, of Overton spent last week in Wortham visiting in hte home of Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Keeling. Mrs. Walter Griffith of Blooming Grove has returned form a visit in Austin and will spend several days in Wortham visiting her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Bell. She was accompanied home by her grand-daughter, Miss Brownibel Cole, who will spend some time visiting in Wortham. Dr. and Mrs. Fred W. Horn has as guests Sunday Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Harris and Mrs. Paul Milner and children, Pauling and Harris Wilson, of Streetman. Mrs. A. H. Edwards accompanied them home on their return to Streetman for a few days visit. [ad skipped] Mrs. J. H.
