PALESTINE, Texas. April 10 - Articles found in possession of two young men arrested at a Buffalo tourist camp at 2 a.m Sunday were identified. Deputy Sheriff Homer Robertson of Fairfield said, as having been taken in armed robberies at Palestine and Fairfield Saturday night. At 8:45 p.m. two men driving a small car held up Ben Bonner, Fairfield field service station operator, and his wife, took $13 and an air gauge and locked the couple in a restroom of the service station. At 11 p.m. two highjackers of similar description robbed Howard Daly, night operator of a station on the courthouse square in Palestine and Miss Euna Wyatt, Neches, of more than $40 and locked the young couple in a room of the station. Miss Wyatt was waiting for a bus at the station when the holdup was committed. She and Daly released themselves by crashing a locked door and notified officers. Daly identified a flashlight found in possession of the bandits as one taken in the holdup, Robertson said. Robertson said robbery charges would be filed Monday at Fairfield.
