Forrest Ogilvie of Goose Creek spent the week-end with relatives in Teague. W.R. Boyd, Jr., of New York City joined Mrs. Boyd at their Lodge near Teague during the holidays. Miss Roma Scott of Houston visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.J. Scott, during the holidays. G. E. McSpadden returned Sunday afternoon after a two weeks trip to Alberqueque, New Mexico and Los Angeles, Calif. He was accompanied home by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde McSpadden and daughter, Mary Ann, of Los Angeles, who will remain for a visit with relatives here. Mrs. W.B. Cotten and Mrs. Cora Linson are vacationing in Alpine. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Gilmore and family spent last week in New Orleans, La., and Liberty. Mr. and Mrs. Tebeaux of Crawford were week-end visitors in the home of Mrs. W. D. Cabaniss and Mrs. R.J. Landers. J.E. Snearley, who has been employed in Victoria, returned home during the week-end to remain several days before he goes to Mineral Wells. Miss Nita Beth Hays of Teague and Misses Jean and Mary Agnes Stinson of Conroe have returned from several weeks trip to Colorado Springs, Denver, Boulder, and other points in Colorado. They came back by El Paso where they spent a few days. Mrs. W.S. Wasson and daughters, Clara Elizabeth and Fae Jean of Buffalo spent July 4th in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Botter, Sr. Elmer McVey, a student at the University of Texas, spent holidays with his mother, Miss Olive McVey in Teague. Mr. and Mrs. J.V. Mooney returned Saturday from a visit with their son, James Mooney, in Waco. Mr. and Mrs. Graham Pickle of Palestine are visiting in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Pickle this week. Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Boyd III and son, W.R. IV, are vacationing at the Boyd Lodge near Teague. Amiel Sumrow of Houston was a Teague visitor Sunday. Emmett Botter of Kilgore and H. Croft of Hallsville spent the week-end in the home of Mr. Botter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Botter, Sr. Mrs. E. W. Miller visited in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dickenson in Houston she attended the wedding of her friend, Mrs. Lizzie Shaw to Andrew Smith of Fort Worth. Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Hamilton have returned from a trip to Los Angeles, Calif., and other western points. Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Anderson are spending their vacation at a summer resort in New Mexico. Miss Sarah Frances Bourland has returned to her home in Dallas after a several days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Walter Weaver. Jackie Bourland will remain for another week.
