  Misses Docia Lackey and Gladys Mooney were visitors in Teague last weekend.
  Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ferguson and son, Jimmmy, are visiting here this week.
  Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Simpson of Arp are visiting here.
  Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Brown, former residents of Winkler, have returned to make
their home here.
  Mr. and Mrs. Norman Reed and son, Jim Norman, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hagler, 
attended the 4-H Fair at Fairfield, Friday.
  Miss Sallie Jeffers, who has been on an extended visit here has returned to 
Dallas to assume her duties as a nurse.
  Miss Beryl Walker of Fairfield visited in Winkler this past weekend.
  Mrs. Pink Hagler of Streetman visited relatives in Winkler this week.
  Mr. and Mrs. Leland Knight of Dallas visited relatives and friends here recently.
Mrs. Knight, nee Miss Annie Mae French, was honored with a shower given in the 
home of Mrs. Curtis Hagler. The honoree received many gifts.
  Mrs. R. K. Anders and baby of Corsicana visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Webb
Lee, here recently.
  Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Standard of Corsicana visited relatives here recently.
  Curtis Hagler visited Streetman Friday.
