Mrs. Maggie Cantrell Is Buried At Wortham

  Funeral serivces for Mrs. Maggie B. Cantrell, 74, who died last Tuesday 
afternoon, were held at Wortham on Wednesday afternoon.  Among the survivors
is a son, David Cantrell, who resides at Trinidad.

  News reached here this week that a fine baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. 
Grady Peurifoy at Wortham last Wednesday.

Sgt. F. B. Covert, who has just recently returned from 2 years overseas service
in the EOT, and wife and baby of Wortham and Mrs. Fred Covert of this city were
in Grand Saline Sunday for a visit in the home of Mrs. Alene Darby and family.
