  Friends of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Pillans and family regret to see them move out of 
the community to West Texas.
  Mr. and Mrs. Travis Anders and Betty Sue of Houston are visiting relatives
here this week.
  J. P. Gregory and daughter, Emma Gene, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hagler.
  Mrs. M. D. Anderson and Mary Jane are visiting in Sweeney and Houston.
  Mrs. Minnie Knight received word of the arrival of a son, Charles French, born
to Mr. and Mrs. Leland Knight of Dallas.
  Mr. and Mrs. Dillard Burleson were visitors in the Ralph Johnson home recently.
  Jesse Bonner and Kirven Harris attended Federal Court this week in Dallas.
  Weldon Smith visited his father, Ed Smith, the past weekend.
  Mr. and Mrs. John Massey and family are now living in the old Massey home in 
Winkler. Friends are glad to welcome them.
  Mr. and Mrs. Sam Clark and family will make their home in Lubbock.
  Miss Freddie Gene Massey was a Mildred visitor Wednesday night.
  Miss Mary Massey has returned to Dallas after a tonsilectomy.
