Canady Family Holds Reunion

  Canady Family members met May 17th, 1992 at the Fairfield Civic Center. Rain 
and bad weather did not stop the fun. Cousins learned family news from “Canady 
Family Newsletter.” Also copies of “Freestone Frontiers” published by Freestone
County Genealogical Society were available which, contained an excellent article 
on Tacker family and Union Cemetery written by Lena Canady Bonner. Those attending 
were: Herschel Canady, Carl and Lena Bonner, Ann Farnsworth, Rachel Hughes and 
Tennille Hughes of Fairfield; L. Verne Thomas, Jackie and Ed Patton, of Teague; 
Neal and Kelly Patton of Richardson; Verina Daniell and grandson Thom, Carol
Bowers and grandson Cory of Dallas; EINorma and Millard Smitherton of Hillsboro; 
Richard and Susan Kennard, Melody, Jennifer, John and Karen of Tatum; Billy and 
Jo Ann Canady of Magnolia; Maurice Holder and son-in-law Gene Hoffman of San 
Antonio and Carla Bonner of The Colony.
