CANNERY: Kimbell Food Products Company cannery (Kimbell interests of Fort Worth) locations in Fairfield, Athens, and Timpson SEASONALLY OPEN: Only open seasonally, closing usually around start of August. PRODUCTS: Tomato focus in 1949 (Closed for the season in Aug 1, 1949). Canned 5,000 cases of tomatoes in 1951. A little berry canning in 1949. Canned a lot of berries (8,000 cases from Teague) in 1950. Installed pea canning equipment in June-July 1950 with volume of 3,000 cases of peas daily. Canned 12,000 cases of peas in 1951. BUILDINGS: March 1949 land secured and plant to be built. New pea building 24x76 feet joined original building. New warehouse 50x120 feet.
