Old Ghost Towns - with former Post office:


Bowling

  Bowling was a very small community located east of Blount/Blunt, south of Troy, 
and north of Butler, and a mile inland from the Trinity River. I have found 
no reference in the Teague newspapers from 1906, nor any reference in obituaries
from the Fairfield Recorder in the 1900 to 1905 time period.


Post Office:
9 Mar 1900 to 14 Sep 1905 (after which mail went to Butler)
