Goetz

Goetz appears on a 1918 soil survey map in the NE corner of the county between 
Richland Creek and Tehuacana Creek.  Goetz was located east of St. Elmo. Goetz 
resided on the road going NE from Fairfield through Lake Chapel/Ward Prairie 
area continuing NE into Navarro county.

The same 1918 map lists "Melba-Mary Ann Fishing Club" to the NE of Goetz.  

Goetz had a post office for a short three year span between 1 Sep 1915 and 14 
Sep 1918. This post office was the last post office established in the county.
