Goetz was located east of St. Elmo. Goetz resided on the road going NE from Fairfield through Lake Chapel/Ward Prairie area continuing NE into Navarro county. The same 1918 map lists "Melba-Mary Ann Fishing Club" to the NE of Goetz. Goetz had a post office for a short three year span between 1 Sep 1915 and 14 Sep 1918. This post office was the last post office established in the county.
