Midway

The Midway community was located near Streetman was halfway between Teague and 
Mexia. The old Midway community was also near Winkler.  Many of the kids went
to school at St. Elmo after the Midway school was consolidated in 1919.  
Still previously children would go to St. Elmo once they got past the earlier
grades. Midway Tourist Camp and Service Station that operated in 1929.
