Shiloh/Shiloah #2 (near Woodland)

   Shiloah was an African American community near Woodland.  The church was on 
the Kirvin to Wortham road.   
   

School:
  The old Woodland College building was given to the Shiloh community in 1906 to
  be used as their school building.
  
  A 1936 listing shows a 42 foot well at the "Shilo school" that was located 
"1 mile northwest" of Kirvin at location #23 on the map. *1*
