Spring community  (near Turlington)

The Spring community was located near Turlington east of Fairfield.  Spring was 
south of Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Locals were J. Ben Roberts and George Solomon.
Spring was about 9 miles east of Fairfield.

School:
Spring School - single room school building, children sat on handmade plank benches 
    14 students in 1887
    26 pupils in 1893-94
  Mattie Alice (Taylor) Richardson was the school teacher in 1903-1904.   
  Gertie Watson taught here.
