Dallas Morning News August 8, 1912 Page: 10 Old Soldiers Begin Reunion at Ennis Parsons' Brigade Members in Annual Celebration Program for Today Includes Automobile Ride Over City and a Big Chicken Dinner Ennis, Tex., Aug. 7 -- The thirty-second annual reunion of Parsons' Brigade Association met here today for a two day's session, with about eighty members and visitors in attendance. Mayor Collier, Dr. J. C. Loggins and Mrs. Clemma Watkin delivered addresses of welcome, which were responded to by B.F. Marchbanks of Waxahachie, who also delivered the annual address. The Ennis Band is furnishing music for the reunion. W.R. Kirkpatrick is commander and George H. Hogan is adjutant of the association, both of them residing at Ennis. An automobile ride tomorrow afternoon, a big chicken dinner and many other forms of entertainment have been provided. The meetings are being held in the Christian Tabernacle.
