Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Obituary of Leta Blanche (Cain) Abbott (Jun. 28, 1926 - Sep. 19, 2006, buried at New Hope Cemetery at Cotton Gin) Mexia Daily News September 21, 2006 Leta Blanche Abbott Mrs. Leta Blanche Abbott, 80 of Forest Glade passed away early Tuesday after a lengthy illness at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Mrs. Abbott was born June 28, 1926 in Mexia to Cliff and Mary Gregory Cain. Mrs. Abbott was a loving wife, mother and homemaker. Mrs. Abbott was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Abbott on April 13, 2006. The couple had been married 65 years. The couple had three children, Lloydette and husband Jimmie Harris of Forest Glade, Pat and husband William Pipkin of Huntsville, and Michael Abbott of Mexia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a number of loved nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather at Blair-Stubbs Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm.
