Frances (Powell) Adams

Frances Powell Adams passed away September 11, 2009. She was born in the Young 
community, near Fairfield, Texas on June 13, 1915 to Walter Linfield and Lillie 
Powell.

Mrs. Adams is preceded in death by Jim Adams, three sisters and one brother. 
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

They founded Continental Dredging, Inc. in January 1972, and after Jim's death
Mrs. Adams was CEO until she retired. She also helped start New Harvest Church
of Pearland in the den of her home.

Funeral service was held Saturday, September 12th, at Niday Funeral Home in
Houston. Interment fol- lowed in Fairfield.
