  Sad news has just been received here of the death, in your town, of Mr. A. 
Adkins, brother of our friend and neighbor, L. H. Adkins, of this place. We 
extend our sympathy to the family.

     DEATH OF MR A. ADKINS
  Passed Away last Sunday Night After a Long Illness
  
  Mr. A. Adkins, an old resident of Fairfield, died at his home here last Sunday 
night after a long and painful illness, of catarrh. His remains were interred 
in the Fairfield cemetery Monday evening, a large number of friends and relatives 
being present.
  The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss.
